Lona Rerick, AIA, LEED AP

Lona Rerick, AIA, LEED AP is a project architect with over ten years of experience in all phases of architecture and interior design from programming through construction. She has worked on a variety of building types for commercial, educational and public clients and her professional strengths include coordinating project teams, communications, scheduling, production and sustainable design strategies. Lona is a former chair of the AIA Portland Chapter’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) and has served as the head of YGH’s Sustainability Committee since 2002, helping lead the firm through The Natural Step planning process. Lona is additionally helping YGH with coordination efforts towards meeting the AIA 2030 Commitment which firms voluntarily participate in and requires the development of action plans and steps to move buildings to carbon neutral by the year 2030.
